Murcar Links is an attractive 18 hole course situated on the coast of Aberdeenshire, 10 minutes from Aberdeen city centre with superb views across the North Sea. A Par 71 course with a standard scratch rating of 73 (USGA rating 72.7 and USGA slope rating 135). Murcar frequently features in the Top 100 courses in the UK and the VisitScotland Top 40 Great Scottish Links Collection.

Hosted the European Girls Team Championship and the Scottish Amateur Strokeplay Championship.

2012
Hosted the Paul Lawrie Foundation Scottish Boys Championship and in 2006 we hosted the European Challenge Tour’s inaugural Scottish Challenge.

2013
Hosted the European Boys Team Championship.

2014
Hosted the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Northern Open.In July 2016 Murcar Links hosted the inaugural European Tour Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Match Play which was won by Kiradech Aphibarnrat in the final against Robert Karlsson.

2020
Hosted the Scottish Men’s Amateur Championship.

MURCAR LINKS HISTORY
Established in 1909 to the design of Archie Simpson, with later refinements made in the 1930′s by the celebrated golf course designer James Braid, it has also undergone alterations and improvements that are sympathetic to what Simpson and Braid set out to achieve, under the watchful eye of Graeme J Webster’s Team Niblick Ltd.
