Glenmorangie House - Tain
Set amongst the rolling barley fields of Easter Ross, is this stunning Highland hideaway. Glenmorangie House (as in the Whisky) is more of a country house than a hotel and is available for exclusive use only. For over 25 years it has welcomed the world to its door, developing an international reputation for Highland hospitality along the way. The house is a magnificent reflection of everything that the word ‘Glenmorangie’ stands for – a retreat to peace and calm, a place for cherished moments.

Glenmorangie House has been awarded two Red Rosettes for its food from the AA hotel inspection service and three Red Stars for its exceptional accommodation and service. The House was included in the influential 5 Best Hotel Experiences 2016 by Forbes.

THE MORNING ROOM
This is where you and  can enjoy cocktails and canapés before dinner and swap stories of the places, and Glenmorangie expressions, you have discovered that day. It’s where you settle down with a good book or a very, very good dram. And where you will be brought a mug of homemade soup and a round of sandwiches to get you ready for your Distillery tour, game of golf or wander along the beach to uncover Pictish wonders. Like every room in The House, it’s yours to do with as you please.

THE BUFFALO ROOM
By day, a cosy spot for coffee and relaxing. But this room really comes alive at night. Once you have had your fill of mouthwatering local food in the dining room, you can wander through to sit by a crackling fire. But it is not uncommon for the furniture to be pushed aside for an impromptu ceilidh, when local pipers and musicians join us for a foot stomping session. It is here you can try different Glenmorangie expressions with some new friends, in a truly timeless setting.

THE BEDROOMS
Our bedrooms, in both the main house and cottages, give you an authentic taste of historic hospitality. The traditional Scottish décor with modern ensuite facilities, means you have the best of the old and the new, creating a tranquil space that feels at once like a luxury indulgence and a home away from home.
